Cast iron Dutch oven on the gas range in the house or on the fish cooker outside.

I use a Carolina Cooker burner and cast iron. I highly recommend one if you like to cook outside and not stink up the house.

^^^^ I’ve got an outdoor propane set up, just looking to replace the small indoor fryer for smaller cooks. Looking at the Presto.

Mines is a T-Fal but any probably work fine as long as they have a basket and get up 375 degrees.

I cook my fish outside with an induction hot plate and 12 inch skillet. Sweet rig. I pan fry.

Presto has a bigger fryer but it won’t maintain the heat when you add 6 or 7 crappie filets. That’s how you end up with soggy fried fish. I have a couple of these, we fry fish or shrimp a couple of times a week.
