He was 77
What makes it stand out in this forum is he drowned during a fishing tournament
He fell overboard and his fishing partner was unable to rescue him
This was at Sam Rayburn at the Toyota fishing tournament

To die fishing may be on my list of ways to go out. Drowning is not on the list though.
Thoughts and prayers for his family and friends. From the information posted, it seems he lived a full life.

I knew his brother back in the 70s. He was a well known bar character often seen around the Dallas market area bars.

Family member stated he had stents put in a few weeks back and was feeling fatigued. Very sad situation. Prayers for his family, friends and the boater.
Autopsy results should be out within the week.
Praying for Mr. Lammons family and friends. The Lord Jesus Christ has control.
