Looks like another compliance issue. Even I know resisting and fighting cops is most likely going to end badly for someone.

Or anywhere now. I don't know why guys even do the job anymore. Who wants to risk jail time and financial ruin for 50k a year. Somethings gotta give.

Houston is just a big city full of scum like the Metroplex DFW is. They're roughly the same size and population. no real need to take this off the rails

I think HPD does OK from what I hear on local radio stations. (I can pick up several news stations out of H-town despite being 100 miles from town).

Looked like he had a knife as he tried to get up. If so, those cops wrestled with him a lot longer than I would have.

I feel like social workers could have talked some sense into him. They may not have convinced him to stop stabbing but he might have developed some remorse for whomever he’d have killed. Of course this is all conjecture on my part.

You shoot enough of those animals they will quit resisting. Problem solved

The police are at a disadvantage these days. Tasers, pepper spray, and collapsible batons don't seem to have much effect anymore. The bad guys are usually so amped up on drugs that it takes four cops to subdue them. They need to bring back the old lead sap. One flick of the wrist and it's lights out.

The only sensible way to end police brutality is to ban cameras.

I wish they were allowed to just shoot anyone who resisted or fled

Deserved it. Pull knife after fighting with cops and getting shot is warranted!

I heard about this about a month or so ago. I think this is the 1st time I've seen any video of it.

Re: Cops shoot man in Houston - 04/18/21 05:17 AM

Not a very intelligent move by the bad guy. He went to a gunfight with a knife. Looked to be a Hispanic cop shooting a Hispanic bad guy. This won’t get much traction.
