Im in Cedar Hill and that marble sized hail just moved through here Lasted a long time but just marble size maybe no damage other than to my wifes plants
Just had a pretty good marble sized hail storm move through. It lasted longer than our normal hail, about 15-20 minutes of straight hail.
Was it just marble size? It woke me upat 1:54 a.m. and I didn't know what the heck was going on. Sounded like 10,000 golfballs destroying the roof. I'll go look in an hour or so once the sun is up. Seemed to last a good 20 minutes.
Well, my mom's truck is okay, which was my main concern. Half the garage has stuff from her late brother that we need to go through and sale/donate/trash, but getting her to do it is a bit of a challenge. It's only been 2.5 months, since he died, so I get it. I just wish she'd left his stuff in storage. I'd rather pay the $100/month than have it in the garage, but whatever.
It came thru at 3:30 a.m. today. Lasted about 6-7 minutes.
10 miles N/NW of Stephenville.
no damage to the sidewalk
The adjuster came yesterday and there was no damage to the roof. Still gonna take the truck to a paint-less repair shop. The hail was about twice this size less than a mile away.
