Always looked down on until needed. Now I'm everyone's best friend. Karma works in mysterious ways. Here for anyone that needs help.

You are going to be one very busy man the next couple of months. Glad that there are people like you in the business.
Side Note: Can you still get enough parts to do your job. There was a story on one of our local news cast saying that area plumbers here in the San Antonio area are having a hard time getting parts and supplies.
I've never heard any plumber claim he was looked down upon...
I know chicks always want to marry doctors and lawyers, or billionaires, but I've never actually heard plumber bashing.
...------
I’m grateful for all the plumbers I’ve known and learned from. Saved my azz this week.....

I'd just use some spackling compound and fill in the cracks. There, I fixed it.

Love our plumbers.
Called a couple days ago and put our name on the list and they showed up a couple hours ago.
Because they have done so much work on the house over the years they pretty much had an idea what was up and it turns out that it wasn't as bad as we thought it might be.
Ragsdale Plumbing in Greenville, TX 903-450-4959
Right now they are one armed paper hangers missing the one arm and a leg but they are good , and honest guys.
Good luck if you need plumbing help.

Looked down on? Not at my casa. Fortunate to have a plumber that lives a few blocks away. Good man, good family and I’m blessed to be able to request his service. Top notch all the way. Paul Bolin plumbing in Wylie.
Everyone loves plumbers. Don't forget: A flush is better than a full house.

Plumbing supplies are very hard to find now
Plumbers skill are not truly appreciated from my experience. People don't get free advice and services from lawyers they know, but tend to expect it from plumbers.
The old poster about the plumber protecting the health of the nation is true.

Trades are a good thing for those that don't choose college. We had a great go tech school in Tulsa.

Plumbers are awesome because I don’t want to deal with the [censored] (literally and figuratively) they do on a daily basis.

I hear you senko. My plumber has shared some stories about some of his “former” customers. Dealing with the public is a PITA for sure.

People are always afraid of getting ripped off. If you have a plumber, electrician, HVAC mechanic, and car mechanic you can trust, you are doing well.

Very true. I have an A/C guy that I 100% trust. He’s absolutely the most honest, and busiest guy I’ve ever met. He has never failed to keep my houses going. It could be 5pm on a weekend...he’d install a used part to hold it till Monday, then only charge me for the new part and it’s installation.
I’ve been screwed by a couple home remodeling contractors and plumbers. It usually ends with throwing em outta my house and hiring a second to remove their [censored] and start over.

My Dad was a plumber and he was an idol of mine. He would not let me follow in his footsteps and forced me to go to college. He only had an 8th grade education but was one of the smartest men I ever knew. Glad he taught me just enough to get by in these times.

Actually he's been a plumber for over 30 years. About 20 years ago him and my dad before he passed ventured out on their own. He pretty much just does commercial jobs and has expanded from L.I., N.Y. to NYC and Connecticut. Oh and that boat is docked in his back yard on his waterfront 4500sq.ft. home on the south shore of Long Island so I'd say he's doing pretty good.

Yes, I'm going with this too.
Only problem with plumbers is too there’s more than just a couple that rip people of and give rest a bad name. Finding a good honest plumber is awesome and never lose their number if you do. Keep away from the Ben Franklin, Discount Drain types and go with regular plumbers that don’t have giant business and your normally going to end up much better.
