I can't believe it, Happy 10th B Day John and Jenny - 01/23/21 05:26 PM
I remember 10 years ago today like it just happened. Sherry had been on bed rest at the hospital since Christmas eve. We were set to be discharged to go home today. I was packing the room up at about 8:30am and was excited to go spend a nice day watching football at home. As I packed the last little bit away I heard the machine that measure contractions beep, beep, beep. By three in the afternoon we were headed into the delivery room. When you have twins there are twice as many people involved. I think there were about 16 people in the room. The OBGYN son was in medical school so him and 4 classmates were there to watch. She had no problem having my daughter naturally. When there was some extra space John flipped over and got the cord wrapped around his neck. So we went into emergency C Section. About as soon as they cut her opened she flatlined on the table. The used medical tape to secure her arms and hit her with a shot of adrenaline to her heart as they used me out of the room. About 10 min went by before I was told she was alive. CRAZY day!
