Guns and ammo crazy question.

Guns and ammo crazy question. - 01/12/21 09:59 PM

So I’ve seen a lot of this lately on here . I didn’t want to hijack any ones thread so I’ll ask it .
What’s up with the detective work on buying guns and ammo ? If you buy a gun from a sketchy individual because it’s dirt cheap why would you not just throw it in a pvc tube and burry it in the woods or something . Especially in times such as this where you just don’t know what’s going to happen tomorrow . And if you grab a gun off one of your buddy’s especially one you trust do y’all really go get it checked out to see if it’s robbed a bank or something before or killed somebody ? Maybe I’m just being naive but when I used to buy guns off someone I knew I’d pay for it and throw it in the truck with no questions . I’m not asking anyone to admit to something silly on a public forum but am I the crazy one ?

Every gun I owned, before the tragic boating accident, added together has killed fewer people than the HRC Crime Family! cheers

I guess I don't care where it came from. I am not going to use it for illegal activity. it's just a tool. I know if I get caught with it that's bad but those guns never come out. I have a ton of guns that were bought in the 60's,and 70's that are not registered to anyone. The whole gun register is to find out who owns what. There is nothing good coming out of that. your worse fears are about to come true.

I've seen a trend of people who feel like they need to make up their own new laws to sell a gun these days. No way I am giving my personal info to someone I don't know off the streets.

I've never bought a gun from a dealer, gun shop, or a big box store. never registered one in my name .I have had zero inquiries about #'s or origin by anyone.

Man that's the truth. We've got a huge veteran population with the AFB here, a lot of them aren't native to Texas, and they're always selling stuff, they want you to jump through more hoops than a store.

uhhh, guys, there is no registration in Tx. just a heads up, from a friend.

as for coming to get them in person, good luck with that. not gonna happen due to leo being a tad smarter than that.

look for ammo to be taxed to hell and back, some made illegal (doubtful but they are trying), no private sales without ffl/4473 filled out and a lot more chit to make it as hard as possible to be a legal gun owner.

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say I’ve bought, sold and traded for more firearms on here than most if not all.
Before so got my FFL I never asked to see an DL or get anything signed since law says no need. Never once had a problem. Then again I never tried to buy a gun on Harry Hines or Greenville Ave!
