Horse Meat - 01/10/21 07:03 PM

I ate horse once by accident. My pulse started racing and my gut was aching so I called my wife then went to the hospital. When she came to visit, she asked the Doctor how I was. He told her I was in “stable” condition.

Horse meat is comonly eaten in some countries. France, I think? Horses in the US are pumped full of steroids and antibiotics that probably aren't safe for consumption. I recommend imported horse meat.

Rapid pulse and gut pain, stuck in a hospital bed?

Man that sounds terrible.

Once you felt better I bet you couldn't wait to get out and start hoofin' it!

A guy goes into a bar with a friend.
Says give me a beer and one for jackarse here.
When finished, says give me and jackarse another beer.
Bartender asks the friend why he lets him call him jackarse.
Friend says, "He-aw He-aw He always calls me that".

My dad was in artillery support in WWII, his outfit ate it when they could get it. Fresh meat was a luxury. He said it tasted like beef, just a bit more stringy, He said they killed several deer in the hedge row country in France.

On a serious note I have eaten zebra in Africa, since I shot the thing I figured I should at least try it. Has kind of a sweet taste. Not too bad but not the best game meat I have had.

I'll never forget as a kid, having dinner with a friend and his family. His dad is chewing on a piece of meat and says, "momma, did you cook horse meat? The more I chew it, the bigger it gets. Everyone died laughing, even his wife.

Pretty certain I was served horse meat, or something that wasn't beef at a restaurant in Globe, AZ back in the 1990's that was a very long drive back with about 18 pit stops along the way.

I've been served horse in Germany...unbeknownst to me and the table. It was actually quite good, but I now have the mind to ask when eating abroad.

They keep trying to get wild horses approved for management slaughter for food but no way are the ladies at PETA and the rest going to let it happen. They roam wild here and eat the forage deer and elk eat. Need to start serving them at McDonalds.

I loved the Six Flags Pancho's back then. If it was horse, it was sure good. Run up the flag for more!
