not sure exactly sure of where this is but it was somewhere in south Texas and i was headed to or from Falcon lake.....

after looking at the map,my guess is that it is highway 16 somewhere between Freer and Zapata.....

Had a blowout on my boat on a area like that coming back from Falcon. Spare was flat also as I never checked it. A few words were said that day.

I always hated the drive from Corpus to Harlingen. Almost nothing there. Rivera and Kingsville. It’s not as bad now as it was in the early 2000’s

Dang, someone cut down all of the trees. Being from East Texas, it's hard to get used to pictures of places with no trees.

Lived down there for four years in early 70's and enjoyed it. Two children born in Kingsville. Wade fished in Baffin Bay and caught a lot of speckled trout and enjoyed going to Mexico border towns. Not the same any more in those respects. Definitely another lifestyle, but the people down there are among the best.
