Got up and ran a few calls from Brenham too south side of Houston .
Just popped laundry in the washer at the hotel cuz my wife won’t drive 3 hrs down here to do it ... which is boochit

Oh hell to the no lol . I’ve tried when she’s sick or trying to get brownie points she just gets pissed and says not doing it right . Like sticking dish soap in the dishwasher which was fun .

The scenery makes up for the fish . I didn’t catch anything last night and got destroyed by mosquitos so bad I felt like those people on naked and afraid

I cleaned the pool filter this morning then got real tired

So I woke up to some general tire bass tourney on tv . So I went out and bought me a bait caster combo . Never cast one like this only the barrel style ones so it should be fun . Time to spool and rig this bad boy out

I'm out grappling some stuff

A whole bunch of chores. I dusted. Cleaned light fixtures. Touch up paint. Installed a tv on the wall upstairs. Went to home depot and bought a bunch of wood to make tops for these dumb [censored] cube storage things we have everywhere. Wife went to IKEA to buy more cube storage. Squirted the feet in the front and back yards. I did buy a new Echo backpack blower, so that's awesome. Cracked a few Miller Lites already and I'm about to start using power tools.

Backside of the new crib. Hopefully getting the inside framed up soon and the electric ran to the property.

I stayed in lots of hotels in my years of working on the road. LaQuintas have good beds and good foam pillows. I seemed to sleep better in a La Quinta, provided it was a newer one. The old ones with the headlights in window on the bottom floor sucked. I doubt any of those old ones are still around. I don’t have to travel much nowadays.

They still have them . I call them motels . Motels have doors on the outside hotels have doors on the inside .

It would make more sense if they have doors on outside, they would be called hoetels.

I do dishes and laundry. We have no dishwasher other than me. Catfish dying in pond since no rain in last 4 months. Watched a spike buck kill himself yesterday trying to jump the neighbors 10 foot high fence. Broke his neck. Sad day or 2 but keeps my mind off of what is in store for our country! d...it!

went to lowes and got a cover for my new to me pellet smoker, pit boss 1300 sq in.
while there got a credit card, seems after 11 yrs. my bankruptcy is history finally.
picked up some hickory pellets from weber and a cleaning brush.

next weekend it's smokin party time!

Thursday, went to 407BBQ and sampled (wolfed it down) the seasonal Thanksgiving sandwich which was fn AWESOME ! ! ! and the house-made mac'ncheese never fails to satisfy.
Note to Brian: we need a TFF nap room for after-lunch recuperations . . . . . . . Just sayin'

Stayed in yesterday (it was Friday the 13th)......

Got out today, fixed a 'puter with a reboot ('yay Microcrap) and made $50 for the service call. $37 profit after gas cost.

Retirement is OK . . . .
