DO NOT EVER........
Put blinds on a storage tank if a thunder storm is approaching.. It will implode.
Leave a storage tank empty if a storm is approaching and nowhere for water to go. The tank will float in inches of water.

This can happen so easily for so many reasons. A local company was steam cleaning some rail cars and closed the drain and top, as the car cooled off it pulled a vacuum and wham, flat car. We had a contractor pressure test a tank and piping system and then they were thru, someone opened the drain valve without venting the tank, it did the same thing. It gives almost no warning signs, just looks normal then messed up.
That’s what happens if I sit it

What a shame. June was about to turn that into the world’s largest stick burner.

Sometimes a big implosion would be a good thing.

I dated a chick that could implode that tanker.
