I wasn’t mad this morning until I read this post. mad

Cowboys win a nail biter in a high scoring affair......41-38. Dak gonna open up the floodgates and send every receiver threat we got in different directions. I sure hope we don’t run into each other, haha. Optimism breeds confidence and success!

I'm going to just say it was one of those days....too many guys missing at critical spots to overcome 3 fumbles in your end.....digging quite a hole though. I will say that those quiet "leaders" might better start showing some fire and heat because it's sorely lacking. Team still has Garrett's DNA all over it in their manner and approach

500+ yards of offense and Dak runs for 3 TDs. Dak ain’t the problem. Zeke ain’t the problem. Coaches prepping the players for the game and bad play calling (again) is the difference.

So those passes and runs scoring 2 TDs late were not needed? He played pretty good all day minus tge fumble. Then againsame old same old from you regarding him. He was over 300yds and a 75% completion percentage well before garbage time.

I bet you Ryan would happily swap the day with him

....and hurt by special teams. Running out the kick off to the 12. Penalty’s causing them to start from the 12-1/2. Two special teams attempts to convert fake punts come up short at critical times. Sloppy play.

The real result of this game was the Falcons LOST THEIR WIN. Cowboys played very very sloppy. Bad coaching decisions. Lucky to eek out a win by a pretty good kicker.

You mean game winning drives are not remembered?

Dude....that was a game won by the special teams....don't be stupid

....and hurt by special teams.

And some say they are super bowl bound

Nah. I have to recalibrate my prediction. Now I think they could go 1-15?

I didn’t get to watch any of the game but wow I didn’t expect them to pull that out.

F*** the haters. I saw a team start really poorly, make adjustments, and grind out a signature win. Dak and Zeek were both incredible. And BS on calling the win luck. The cowboys were in the right mindset at the end of the game, and the falcons weren’t.

I can't believe it. Clicked on this thread to see how bad we got beat. I turned it off at halftime and went back to work. bang

I told yall I thought they would pull out a win somehow, damn sure did not think it would be that way. For some crazy reason I felt like the onside kick was going to be successful, even after all the other special team blunders.

Unbelievable win, I have been let down by the Cowboys so many times where they gave up a fat lead. this time, the shoe was on the other foot. I almost.......ALMOST quit watching. Glad I stayed.

I think yall are giving the Boys a little too much credit. That win was HUGE gift from the Falcons. I haven't seen a special teams mistake(not falling on the onside kick) that big since the Leon Lett f*** up! Offense was good, defense was horrible.

I think you might be diminishing the Cowboys being in a position for the freaky on-side kick recovery to even make a difference. 3 fumbles, down by 20 in the 1st half and 19 in the second yet still being in position to win late in the 4th quarter. Yeah it (the on-side kick recovery) was a gift from Atlanta as was the 450 yards passing by Dak.

I'll just say, from all Cowboy fans, thanks Falconettes for all the gifts.

Oh I give the Boys offense major props for what they accomplished during the game(well except for all the fumbles) but the fact remains they would have never even been given the ball late in the game if those 3 Falcon players didn't ALL THREE have a massive brain fart and forget the defensive team dont have to wait for the ball to go 10 yards before it can be played. The game would have been over right then if even one of them had fell on the ball,Falcons win. It's like Leon Lett deja vu all over again. So yeah,it was a huge gift.

For those who say it was luck, then what is luck?

If you are good enough, you make your own luck by putting yourself into a position to be lucky!
Dak ran this luck machine, and deserves the credit for giving the Cowboys a chance to get lucky!

The Cowboys gave the Falcons 5 gifts, the Falcons decided to be nice and gave the Cowboys one back. The Falcons are very generous, remember the Super Bowl ?

The falcons on side kick f-up is on the coaches, they obviously didn’t work on on-side kick drills.

First NFL quarterback to ever throw for 450 yards and rush for three touchdowns in a game. That’s was some good play calling, one play fooled me, fake hand off to Zeke, I thought for sure zeke had it. But it was all luck. roflmao

Re: Let the crying begin: official Falcons @ Cowboys thread - 09/23/20 10:43 PM

I would bet money those players were coached to not come forward for the ball ,not touch before 10 yards and let it get behind them. That is
the standard way of handling the high bouncing kick. Let the second level handle the ball.

I also bet ever special team in the league is reviewing their process. and every kicker is practicing the " watermelon kick"

The receiving team can touch it at any time. They do not have to wait the 10yds.

Good for Dak and the Cowboys. Sounds like a he77 of a comeback.

I hope Dak gets offensive player of the week next game too, only way the Cowboys going to win is if Dak plays as good or better than Wilson, really do not see that happening.

Correct, but traditional strategy is to let it get past you
