Ive got 5 cats so I figure Id need 3 of those. Not spending 1500 bucks on poop boxes. Probably be worth it if you only have 1 or 2.

That's assuming the cat would get anywhere near it. The first time that thing made noise, the cat would think it was demon possessed and never use it again.

Not being a cat person, this was my first thought about this thing. My second was, who would spend $500 on one?

I forgot to mention this. Yesterday we were in Costco and they were having a demonstration of a small, $300 robot to play with your pet while you are away from the house. I'd buy one for our dog but it wouldn't fit in the crate we put her in when we leave the house!

Cat litter is cheap. We change it every couple of days.

Y'all are in Arlington. Go to Hiep Thai on Pioneer Parkway and get the raw beef marrow bones that are on the back wall of the store. Freeze them solid for a couple days and when you're getting ready to go somewhere, give her one in her house. Much happier dog and much cheaper.

I'm more concerned about poop paws on your kitchen counters and pillows.

My MIL has one and says it's the best thing since sliced bread. No smell and it's simple to clean.

Yeah, and I can only imagine the noise that the cats would make.

My 18 lber can't get on the counters. Previous cat would go from counter to fridge to top of cabinets. Regular ole cat litter here. [Linked Image]

I don't have a cat nor will I ever, Wife is allergic.

But if I did have one I would pay $500 to never smell or have to change a litter box. eeks
