It will hit .80 I presume soon. First time in 30+ years I’ve seen it this low!

Rudy BBQ in Frisco and Allen had it for 1.24 gallon last week.

I wouldn't doubt we see 80 to 90 cents in DFW area as well

This is not a good thing by any stretch.

I don't think I have seen gas less than $1 since the gas "shortage" in the late 70's. They had alternating odd and even fuel days for awhile.

Years ago, gas pumps used to only measure up to 99.9 cents. I can remember going to a gas station in SW Houston and putting in what I thought was $10. It was actually $20. You had to pay double of what was on the pump readout. I was stunned and pissed.

Adjusted for inflation this cheaper than the mid 60s gas wars when gas was 15 cents a gallon at Shamrock and they gave you a Cowboys glass.

This comment is brought to you by the olds of the OT.

It'll go back up and folks will get their jobs back. The extremes are always short-term in the oil industry. I do feel for anyone whose job was lost though, but shouldn't be too long term.

I sure love the "Old School" days when gas was cheep, when you acted up in school the teacher hit you with a ruler/yard stick , and you could go to work with a cold and no one could care less! Also the phrase "Common Sense. and Good judgement" meant something. Yes Sir those were the days. Very sad those days are long gone. violin

Refineries are talking about closing the inlet valve because they have no place to go with the finished product, be very careful what you wish for

True, the refinery I have worked at going on 40 years announced yesterday that we will be shutting down one of our FCC's. I have seen them reduce crude rates before but never shut down a cat cracker due to market conditions. This ain't good.

Saudi Arabia and Russia were willing to cut off their nose to spite our face.
The number of operational wells are at their lowest in years and continue to decline.
Oil producers are now having to contract with tankers to just sit in the ocean because the refineries around the world are all scaling back.
