Give me your SS number and bank routing numbers and I will make sure you get it. This offer applies to anyone in the 903.

Re: stimmulus checks - 03/26/20 08:36 PM

this was on yahoo's front page
https://www.yahoo.com/news/coronavirus-stimulus-checks-eligibility-relief-payment-234022608.html

The maximum amount you can receive is $1,200, or if married filing jointly, $2,400 per couple. That amount phases out for single filers with an AGI between $75,000 and $99,000, joint filers with an AGI between $150,000 and $198,000 and heads of household with an AGI between $112,500 and $146,500.
Those who qualify for the $1,200 credit will also receive an additional $500 for each qualifying dependent 16 years old or younger.

So no kid credit if you don't qualify for the full $1200 amount?

Re: stimmulus checks - 03/26/20 10:09 PM

Single making 75000.00 or less and couples making 150,000 will get $1200 each + $500 for each dependent child. It is coming from IRS data bases,2018 numbers if 2019 is not filed. Makes no diff where the income is from 1099 or w2. Hopefully they have your bank info from your returns

They deduct $5 for every $100 you make over the cap. I think I may owe them money when it’s all said and done.

I'm getting it and buying puts on the S&P 500. That's what they want us to do with it, right?

I can't wait to see the dems and media spin around election time, it will be how the national debt increased by 2 trillion+ and how unemployment rose. The sheeple will forget all about this virus and believe this is Trumps fault. No mention of Nans pork laden changes and the pay increase for the poor already overpaid politicians. TRUMP 2020

$1 Trillion deficit in budget before virus.
$2 Trillion stimulus.
$? Trillion reduction in revenue until business returns to normal and deficits return to $1 Trillion.
$? if additional stimulus is needed.

It's' going to be huge.

FYI, you forgot to add in the first 2 COVID 19 funding bills that passed before the latest $2 Trillion one.

Right. Then add in the affect on State and local government revenue losses and the possibility the Feds will have to help them survive. The Feds can print money but the States and locals can't. Some may consider this a doom and gloom scenario but being aware of what we might be facing in the future is also important.

Not promoting that they do it, but the US Dollar is about as strong as it's ever been. May be the perfect time to devalue the $ a bit by printing some extra $ bills and then pay off some of the debt.

This is exactly what I’ve been worried about most lately. Printing money always devalues the currency and leads to run away inflation. This stimulus package is poison and everybody’s acting like it’s the bees knees.

Fake news, neither politicians nor their staff received any pay increases. A simple read explains the uses of the $25,000,000 for the house and it is entirely justified.

People would rather just post stupid memes than actually find out what's in the bill.

They sure won't. Why do that when they see a meme about it & know all they need to know. No wonder people don't have a clue about what's going on.

16 is stupid. It needs to be any dependent. There is something else that has a cutoff of 16 but I don't remember what it is.

Excellent point RATZY. We simply don’t know what tomorrow holds right now. We know who’s in control but don’t know what tomorrow holds.

My comment was meant to be humorous, guess it failed. However, the whole point of the stimulus is to get money flowing back into the economy so people can remain employed and businesses can survive. Much of mine will be sent back to the IRS in July for the balance of 2019 taxes due and imagine some others will be doing the same.
