Chiefs vs. Texans "Official Thread" - 01/12/20 06:37 PM

Hope "MyHommies" has a better game than Lamar did yesterday.

Everything pointing toward KC win, but I've had a dismal NFL Pick'em year.

Therefore I'm going with the [Linked Image] for the W.

Re: Chiefs vs. Texans "Official Thread" - 01/12/20 06:55 PM

I blew it on my saints pick last week, can I make it two in a row? roflmao

Chiefs have been playing a more vanilla offense the last few weeks, I think this week Reid lets em loose. Number 2 dvoa pass offense against the number 26 dvoa pass defense looks like mahomes has a giant day. Chiefs defense has been playing top notch defense the last 6 weeks, allowing ~11 pts a game.

Chiefs roll 35-17. It’s over early.

Yesterday I would have said Chiefs would be over confident, full of themselves, everybody is picking them to win. Yesterday I think the Texans could have surprised them for the win not today not after the Titans won. Today the chiefs are ready.

Go Texans!!

This is the kind of loss teams can never recover from. Also the kind that vet coaches fired and the team broken up.

We may be experiencing a deja vu here. 1993 the Bills recovered from a 32 point deficit against the Oilers to win 41-38. Been wondering if Nantz or Romo would bring this up. Probably wouldn't be very nice.

We may be experiencing a deja vu here. 1993 the Bills recovered from a 32 point deficit against the Oilers to win 41-38. Been wondering if Nantz or Romo would bring this up. Probably wouldn't be very nice.

I guess if you associate Houston with the choke.
If you associate the Oilers, they moved to Tennessee.

Most would understand that the point was Houston but I guess I should have made the point a little more clearer for you. We're all aware that Houston now calls it's team the Texans.

Been saying this for years. Bill O’Suck isn’t the answer. Time for him to go. He is “meh”. Texans are in a situation similar to cowboys. They have talent but coaching sucks. Cows may have done something about it. Texans seem content with Bill Obie.

The Texans were up 24-0 thanks to drops by the Chiefs receivers and a blocked punt. Bill woke up, thought his last name was Belichick and he had a few cute special plays. Bill doesn’t equal Bill. That was the worst called game on a big lead since.....well the “choke” when the Oilers were up 35-3 in 1993 in a wild card game.

O’Brien is a mediocre coach. Mediocre coaches rarely win Super Bowls. He needs to go....bad.

That sucks for Texans fans, but as a Chiefs fan we’ve endured blown playoff leads more than once. That fake punt call was horrible, Sorensons good for one big play a game and that was it.

It was nice to be on the other end of it for once. Texans have a lot of talent, they’ll be back but O’Brien just doesn’t have what it takes to go to the next level.

If the Chiefs don’t figure out how to tackle Henry it’ll be a long day next Sunday.

One of the reasons I didn't start a single Texans post this year. Always been a huge Oilers/Texans fan, but I don't see my team through rose colored glasses.
We got Fleeced by Seattle on the Clowney deal, mortgaged the future by giving away two first round picks and a second for a left tackle, when we could have moved up in the draft this year to get a very good one for a lot less, and kept a coaching staff and front office that has no clue how to make a deep run in the playoffs. I think the front office actually thought making those two moves would get us to the Super Bowl.
This team is on a long down hill slide of mediocrity. Not surprised at all by what happened today.

I grew up in Houston. This is the ghost of Bud Adams influence. It's still a bucket list trip to pee on his grave.

Noway a team should be able to come back from being down 24 points without help from coaching blunders and a bad defensive effort.
