Of your options, meatsauce.

Same with my wife for years until I made homemade spaghetti sauce from our garden tomatoes, now she has a new love.

The sauce turned out great, to bad I only made 12 jars....I'm already down to 5.

I make it into a casserole dish-
Mix all the spaghetti sauce/noodles into a casserole dish and put cheese on top, bake for 12 minutes and serve-
delicious-

Not a fan of pasta. I do like meatballs, though.

Re: Spaghetti - 12/11/19 08:13 PM

Meatballs and meat sauce for me. I'm way too lazy to make my own sauce. Classico Italian Sausage and Peppers was the best sauce, but Walmart dropped that flavor. HEB started carrying Pioneer Women sauce. She has a Sausage and Peppers sauce and it's very good.

Usually with Italian sausage (spicy), sometimes with meatballs. Sauce recipe handed down from my sainted 50%-Italian mother.

Re: Spaghetti - 12/11/19 10:24 PM

Ancestry.com says I'm 89% Italian. Grandma's recipe is 110%

Re: Spaghetti - 12/11/19 10:30 PM

If you make it at home, try making the meatballs out of Italian sausage. Just brown them in a skillet before adding to sauce,

It will add some additional flavors to the meal.

I’m just not a spaghetti guy. It might be because the wife makes it very bland

Meat sauce and only made with San Marzano tomatoes. Often add some Italian sausage as well. Meatballs on very rare occasion but even then still meat sauce.

I don’t like spaghetti noodles. Make the same thing with ziti or penne and I’m in.

Baked ziti is my favorite, though.

Trying to clear out the freezer for this year's deer so I had dead deer meat sauce spaghetti for lunch Sunday. Too lazy to make meatballs most of the time, but I like those too.

Meat sauce with Italian sausage 90% of the time. I started making some mozzarella stuffed meatballs a few weeks ago and smoking them on the pit. They're turning out delicious

I like spaghetti sauce but not spaghetti noodles. I will eat them, but prefer other noodles.

One way and one way only. Real spaghetti, not that sissy thin stuff, with meat marinara plus meatballs and Italian sausage. Never broken before boiling, served full length only And served correctly, with both fork and spoon...preferably a true spaghetti spoon.

Proper answer. If you ain't gonna eat it right you might as well take that diet to a box of rice cakes.
