Lupe Tortilla......worth the money to eat there?

Thinking about taking the wife for a birthday meal...saw the prices are a bit higher than similar places. Especially the fajitas. Is it worth the money?

New one opened near us and wondering the same - haven't heard any reviews yet.

My favorite place to eat. Love the fajitas and the tortillas are huge and good.

Ate at the one in Addison on Friday of last week. It was damn good. I didn't get the fajitas but immediately regretted my decision when the head chef brought out a sample of the beef fajita. My dish was still awesome. It was some chicken and shrimp deal.

So I guess the fajita order easily feeds 2. We are pretty light eaters and would hate to over order.

You should be good. I usually get the fajitas for 2 and take about 1/2 home to snack on. The bean sauce or whatever they call it that comes with the chips before the meal is awesome.

Lupe Tortilla and Pappadeaux's are the only things I miss about not having Houston in my sales territory anymore. I think its worth the money. Fajitas is the only thing I have ever ordered, but I am sure the whole menu is good.

Ive only eaten at one but I’m here to tell you they were easily the best beef Fajitas I’ve ever eaten.

Ok I don’t know....is Lupe Tortilla the same as Lupe’s?

We bailed on it tonight since we had our newborn grandson today so our daughter could get a full day's rest. We called in an order to Los Molcajetes instead. Always decent to really good. Thanks for the feedback as Lupe Tortilla is on our list of must try places.

+1 Somebody ordered them at work and they are really good. Now we order there instead of the place we used to get food from

High priced but decent. El Tiempo is much better in Houston.

I saw that at Stacy/75 where all the new construction is going on. I guess it is now open, I will give it a shot. Sounds like fajitas are the thing to get there

Lupe Tortilla is one of several places I miss from Houston.

When ranking fajitas, it is important to evaluate the tortilla and the meat separately. Both have to come together to make a great fajita.

IMO, Lupe Tortillas is tied for best beef fajita with Ninfa's. Lupe's meat is better, but Ninfa's has the best tortilla I have have ever tasted.

Pappasito's is one step down from those two. In their case, the beef is on par with Lupe Tortilla, but the chicken is not as good and the tortilla is not anywhere close.

I am patiently waiting for the one in Allen to open. We are assuming the city is blocking the CO for this store. They have been ready for over a Month now and nothing.

Lupe is good but the original Blue Goose and Addison Blue Goose fajitas put Lupe to shame.
