Who’s going to do what tonight?

Re: Chiefs vs Chargers - 11/19/19 01:26 AM

Hope the Chiefs walk all over them...but on any given Sunday (Monday).

I took the Chiefs on my picks but could see it going either way. Hope Mahomes has a good night.

My best friend is working the play clock there tonight.

I just like watching Mahomes play. Every game he does something I’m not sure anyone else could.

Chiefs haven't been as impressive this year and the Chargers are the kind of team this year that's capable of beating anyone and losing to everyone. Maybe a tie?

Booger wouldn't know what to say if it ended in a tie.

Rivers sure has lost a step or two as a QB.

He's 37 which is significant for mere mortals not named brady.

Surprised at the apparent loss of arm strength.

I see the interceptions haven’t stopped for Rivers.....

Re: Chiefs vs Chargers - 11/19/19 02:53 AM

They can’t seem to get the ball across the goal line.
The interceptions are ridiculous.
Rivers’ half-cocked throw still bugs me.

I say Chargers win by 2........... on all field goals.

If the chargers win, I will be shocked. But they are kicking too many field goals

I’ll be shocked, too.

The elevation will come into play at sometime, Chargers keep shooting themselves in the foot.

Man, Rivers doesn't have much zip on the ball anymore.

Chargers need to let Rivers go and draft a good QB... He’s still competitive but he lacks the skills he used to have

Mahomes is a special talent, fun to watch him play and became a chiefs fan when he got drafted. Hope he and Andy Reid win a championship at some point.

Chargers TD.

Re: Chiefs vs Chargers - 11/19/19 03:43 AM

That 2point conversion will do more for the Chargers psyche than the points will.

Re: Chiefs vs Chargers - 11/19/19 04:10 AM

I say the chiefs by 10 points

It might be time for a new QB for the Chargers.

4 picks in one game for a veteran is bad. Real bad!

Those were poor reads and poor throws. He looks like a rookie out there. Crazy thing is he is steady yelling and rolling his eyes at teammates. Always whining to refs too.

Have to agree with this. Guy looks constantly pissed and usually at his teammates. And making some really dumb throws.

Re: Chiefs vs Chargers - 11/19/19 04:53 AM

Rivers has always been a tier 2 just short of elite & not able to get over the hump.

7 interceptions in two games isn’t a normal Rivers... I think he wants to be traded, he’s done being the face of the chargers

To where? Denver? Chicago? Neither is going anywhere.

Re: Chiefs vs Chargers - 11/19/19 02:21 PM

Chargers made one mistake last night, not continuing to run the ball, every play. Other than the pass interceptions, which were more about good secondary play on a few plays, the Chargers outplayed my Chiefs most of the game. Constantly driving the ball down the field. Only to have drives halted by changing the types of plays that were moving the ball with or having to try to force a pass into tight coverage. It was a costly win for the Chiefs. More top players injured playing on a bad field.

There were several, but 1 example, Hill pulling a hamstring trying to start running down the field causing him to be out for the game.

Hill gets hurt just putting on his shoes.

I doubt he has a lot of trade value.

Sadly, the Chief’s defense this year is just not good.

Sure, they can score on anyone...but they cannot stop teams from scoring on them.

Try to outscore elite level teams will not win championships

Ok Mike..... This may sound odd coming from a die hard Chiefs fan, but you and I both know that Rivers' nemesis is the Chiefs, last year's last second 2 pt conversion was the first win against the Chiefs in 4 years. Rivers is not that bad, he always throws picks against the Chiefs.

It was a sloppy game from both teams, the Bolts just played a little sloppier.

Like wasted r time said, the Bolts messed up trying to throw the ball so much. They can run, the Chiefs can't stop the run, but they chose to continue to throw the ball.

I'll take it, a win's a win, but if my Chiefs don't get something even close to a running game and get to at least average in stopping the run, they'll be out in the first round.
