Never worked anywhere in corporate America where I could wear shorts, even on casual Fridays. Short sleeve shirts with tie were OK in most places, but some required long sleeves.

I don't ever remember seeing a get-up like that anywhere, and if so I put it out of my mind as soon as possible. I never wore shorts till last year. Waited 40 years until l was sure they weren't just another passing fad.
