"Levi Strauss CEO Chip Bergh is fired up, and he seems unwilling to rest until he's single-handedly alienated every freedom-loving customer the company ever had. Bergh has been in the news for some time sounding off about his hatred for the right to bear arms, but recently he has outlined three ways in which he plans to utilize his company's money and name recognition to bolster anti-gun causes.

First, he will set up the Safer Tomorrow Fund, an organization that will offer $1 million in grants to 'nonprofits and youth activists who are working to end gun violence in America.' Second, Levi's will officially partner with Michael Bloomberg's Everytown for Gun Safety group.

Finally, Bergh plans to double its match for employees donating to anti-gun organizations, and to actually pay workers for up to five hours a month of volunteer work for such groups. This is far bigger than the lousy opinions of one CEO; this is a large corporation that is doing everything it can to stomp out Second Amendment rights for the heartland Americans they pretend to serve."


I would never begrudge this man his honest opinion, as long as he is open to considering facts and reason. There are many people in this country who are gullible or stupid enough to buy into the antigun agenda. But for him to use his company to fund a massive attack on the Constitutional rights of the very people who support his company, and who support his employees and their families, is reprehensible and selfish. I urge all of you who value your Constitutional rights to pass this information on, and to boycott Levi Strauss & Company. And be very vocal about it.

I'm very safe with firearms...extremely and am pro gun safety.

Points #1 and #2 are all about taking guns away from legal firearm owners and abolishing the 2nd Amendment For someone to read this and to allude otherwise is either extremely naive or schemingly dishonest.

I boycotted Levi's long before this was news. I could never find a comfortable pair and Wrangler's were better and cheaper.
