Hit us here on Lake Conroe about an hour ago. High winds, heavy rain and lightning.

Just had 70mph wind and small hail blowing sideways.

We were still 50 miles offshore and had a little over an hour and a half to make it back into the cut at Sergeant for the crab trap snapper tourney when it hit. We made it in with 30 seconds to spare on weigh in. The good news is we won! And survived.

All power is out on Bolivar peninsula.

That sucks for a bunch of vacationers
