You grow up as poor as I did you would drink from the faucet. I saved a few bottles left on my Gator after the hunt, refill them to make people think that I'm rich. Do you? How much?

When you were growing up water was safe to drink from the faucet.

Drank from the garden hose all the time as a kid, faucet on the inside of the house. Our water here is a tad funky in the summer so we drink filtered thru the fridge

I can usually afford bottled water, but that's about it. Most of my consuming of water comes from filtered through the fridge, in the RTIC of course, and no, not a YETI.

I grew up drinking from the faucet and occasionally the hose when I was outside. Bottled water wasn’t really a thing back then. We drink water through the fridge filter now, or Brita filter before we got a fridge with one. I drink bottled water when I am away from home or thats all that’s avaikable. That’s not too often. Has nothing to do with being rich and everything to do with taste and availability.

We keep bottled water in one of the refrigerators for the grandkids as a convenience. Everyone else drinks filtered water from the refrigerator.

I drink out of the faucet at the house. The water in Arlington has a funky taste, so I buy bottled water for use at the office.

I think most of y’all are proof that drinking from a hose isn’t safe.

Faucet/hose here . Bottled at work or drive-through restaurants .
Never drink from fountains . Seen too many people slobber all over them . sick

If I travel anywhere, bottled water for me if possible. To many variances in taste, chemicals and filtration for local water systems if nothing else.

No public water fountains if at all possible. And yes growing up I dank gallons of water from the outside yard hose and never thought anything about it.

Only water I ever drink is while swallowing down my medications. That happens four times each day. My medications are in my bathroom, thus I used a cup by my bathroom faucet.

Used to drink water from the tap but then the city has gotten too big, and they started jacking with the water sources, and we had times when water appeared cloudy and even times where rust appeared.
I've been drinking bottled water now for a long time.

Re: Bottle water - 03/03/19 03:37 PM

Faucet at home, bottled elsewhere. In the summer it is not unusual for me to drink 20 bottles a day. I used to carry a water can and a cup, the bottles are way more convenient.

I think it is a waste of money, but I am a tight a__. My wife buys it but I drink out of the filtered water from the fridge. I like it for hunting and fishing trips because it is easy to transport.
