There's one stat Dak is leading the NFL in.......sacks (not all on him, the line blows protection some of the time but he has to learn to get rid of the damn ball at some point)

Part of those sacks when he has time is terrible play calling so far as the routes and options he has to go to. Why don’t we run slants anymore or quick hitting pass plays? Oh wait bc we have clapper and Linehan running this thing.

This team was not ready to play today, plain and simple. The lack of coaching the QB rears it’s ugly head every game. The Cowboys had Kellen Moore, a player who was a bust at backup. So then the braintrust brilliantly hired him to coach a starting NFL QB. For Pete’s sake, Moore has never even coached junior high football. Dak needs passing technique help and somebody kindly tell him for the 50th time, quit holding the football.

The Cowboys have missed a couple of opportunities that may come back to bite them

The defense is looking weak all around, but the most noticeable difference seems to be the disappearance of the linebackers. They've played well all year and are just plain M.I.A. today.

You guys are lucky to be in the NFC you can still possibly make a playoff run, pretty weak conference compared to the AFC. The Colts are probably only about the 4th or 5th best team in the AFC.

If the Cowboys do not pull out a win,it's one more nail in Jason Garrett's Coffin!

That Jarwin drop and the horrible drop by no name #49 in the end zone earlier are certainly awful plays by those individuals. They're also good examples of wide open throws that Dak did his receivers no favors by throwing an awful ball to a wide open receiver.

If the NFL got rid of the 'holding' penalty they would shave at least 30 minutes of game time off the clock.

I figured the Cooper trade ends up with Garrett keeping his job. I thought it was a bad trade to begin with but for the totally wrong reason. At the time it was because for a team that needs to rebuild, giving up a first round draft pick didnt seem to make sense. However Cooper has shown that he is worth the pick by his impact on the field. A first round pick is never a sure thing anyway.

Yet in the end the trade may be worse than thought if it results in Garrett staying which it will. However it should be even more reason for Jones to show Garrett the door.

Owner who can't make the proper decision on when the head coach should go leads to coach staying. Another couple more years that the Cowboys aren't in the mix of Super Bowl contenders.

The other teams in the league have to love it. They are " please, pretty please do not get rid of Garrett". They know their is little chance their team will be out coached.

Even though I'm a Texans fan, I gotta admit I was intrigued by this Dallas team. I thought they might be able make a playoff run, mostly due to the defense and Zeke being an elite rb. But after the beatdown today it's clear that Dak and Amari are just above average players and if teams can stop Zeke, Dak can't put the ball in tight windows nor can he throw players open consistently. He's just not good enough to put this team on his shoulders when Zeke is struggling against good defenses.

Look, let's all be honest with ourselves. Until Red Clappy is gone, the end product doesn't change. They may have 5 game win streaks and Super Bowl talk will be fun to discuss and laugh about, but it's not happening until he is gone. He managed to save his job with a 5 game win streak against 1 good team and 4 sub-par teams. Big picture, that fact will be completely lost on Jerruh even though it is obvious to anyone with a sub-optimal football brain. This is a clown-show and the money keeps rolling in and nothing will change. When the Cows were 3-5 and everyone was pissed, Jerruh came out and said "The Jones family will always own the Cows". I.E. nothing is changing. Maybe in 2020 there will be another coach, but barring death there will not be another GM and while they have accumulated some very good young talent and I think are a better team than last year, no doubt. This is not a SB team and everyone but thick blue star glasses wearers know it. Jerruh knows it. Red Clappy knows it too. But the money rolls in to Jerruh and Red keeps clapping because the money keeps roiling into him too. Nothing changes for at least roughly 2 years probably. Maybe Linehan leaves. ENJOY.

I dont think they looked terrible. They were jamming the ball down the Colts throat but like always poor play calling and penalties kept stopping them. Did anyone notice that there were 0 run plays for Dak? I believe he HAS to run a few times.
It keeps them honest. All those times he was standing there for 5 count and then just getting sacked instead of taking off was hurting them and ending drives. The pass rush was non-existent. He had ALL DAY to stand there and throw it. ALL DAY.
He didn't even have any pressure. and the tackling? how many missed tackles? 20? that being said, Vegas was all over this. You could see it coming after 5 wins.
