Up north, the stumps keep all the jet skis and wake boats away.

We do go to Falcon in February 4-5 days.

For a three day weekend, keeping it close to DFW and East Texas works best for most.

According to her, she is not aware of a fishing tournament scheduled that weekend.

I have booked a room. Checking in Thursday Oct 18th evening, leaving Sunday Oct 21st

She says for this time of year to book at least four weeks in advance.

I'd love to come by and meet some of y'all since everyone will be here, but my daughter is getting married Saturday 20th. It's outdoor wedding so praying for no rain for the OT fishing trip and for the wedding!

Y'all be careful running, lake is down about foot and a half and some stumps are just below, especially north of 155 bridge.

I'd appreciate any fishing reports/tips after y'all get done...I'm supposed to take some customers from work the 27th and sure don't want to put the skunk on them.

Ok boys...disregard what I said about Lake being 2ft low....we got a few rain drops back in the pond...looks like chocolate milk and cold water temps,but should've back at full or over by Sat...now you just have to watch for floaters coming down from river

I was planning on going, but I've changed my mind. I've picked up a paper route and a dime bag. This should be a fun weekend.

I typically don�t post negative reviews; but the best thing about Lake Palestine Resort was it�s proximity to good weather
It�s boat ramp is in good shape and the dock is nice

They do have a lot of options for cabins/rooms/tent sites/RV spots; but they really packed everything in a relatively small area�lots of concrete and dirt with few open/wooded areas

Early call for return to Lake o Pines Marina April 12-14 (weekend before Easter)
April full moon is on the 19th/Good Friday next year

12-14 APR... I�m tentatively a firm no. Y�all gotta quit going to these ghey lakes and listening to Tom petty. Go to a real lake. Hell, go #saltlife.

A day of rest and I'm ready to fish. When and where is the next one? Count me in as a definite maybe if on Fork.

Kinda with elcoyote. Wind point park on twok would be a great place. That lake has great everything. Bass, whites, crappie, catfish, etc. I had a great time at the one I went to, and the company was awesome, but the fishing sucked for all of us.

Wind Point is a good one, I would possibly join the �maybe� group on that one.

I�d be open to Windpoint on the same dates

Does windpoint have fire pits, cabins, tent sites, bathroom with showers?

Twok is close enough to Fork for those that like to fish there
