Anybody a Member. I'm talking the auto club not the stop drinking organization.
Have you ever used any of the benefits?
I'm getting at the age I don't want to change flats unless I have too.
If its flat in my driveway I'm calling someone.
If its on the side of the road I may have to change it.
Check to see if your auto insurance covers flats or maybe you can add it.
AAA been around since 1902 so they must be doing something right

We do, never used it.
Had AAA for 25+ years. Both of our daughters used it on multiple occasion when they were off to college, flat tire and dead battery assistance.
When I used to travel a lot, it was comforting to know my wife could call for car help if needed while I was away!

Yes
Check your own insurance first. Many have a service you can add.

I had it for years and never used it. We switched to USAA and they have roadside assistance included in the car insurance, so I dropped AAA.

I had a flat in my driveway and had aaa come change it. it was cold and I was lazy
Had a flat about 3 miles from home. Yep, called them, member for long time now. Bad back won't allow me to change a tire let alone bend over and get the spare or the flat one off.
My only gripe, it took 2 hours for someone to arrive to change it.....I remember not that long ago, you were broke down on the road, usually people would stop and offer help, I know in my younger years I did many times, men and women.
Not a danged soul stopped......
They did a good job but my wife was with me and it was cold and I was not the happiest of campers that night.
Sorry, just my gripe
God Bless

Been a member since around 2002 or earlier.
I've used several of their benefits. Tow, gas, flats, battery.
When taking family vacations, those travel plans they make for you can be pretty useful. Maps for the way there and back, places to eat, places to stay. I'll pull my AAA card with every hotel visit as well

Been a member for several years now but have yet to use any roadside service. Know several friends and coworkers who, like us nearing retirement age, have it and used it, and only complaints are that it took too long for assistance to arrive, several hours sometimes. Joined primarily for insurance. When after +30 years without a claim we were dropped by USAA without explanation, shopped around and went with AAA and found out how badly USAA had been screwing us. Total annual AAA bill (everything bundled) less than six months just for USAA auto. We be USAA-never-again for life.

Check your current insurance...a lot of the companies have road side assistance standard on policies now. I may not get AAA discounts but i dont get AAA yearly billing either and it is pretty steep imo...
Thought this was about the Rangers.
I had them and the trailer/RV coverage, was told originally that it would cover a boat trailer as well. It wasn't until I broke down and needed to be towed that they changed their minds and said it only covered RV and travel trailers.
Dropped them and picked up Good Sam, had to use them a couple of times and no problems. I won't go back or recommend AAA based on personal experience.

Been a member for many years. Helped my son on several different occasions while in college. Also, last year my hunting vehicle broke down at the ranch. They came and got it within 3 hours of my breakdown, put on a flatbed and towed it to my home which was 184 miles away. No charge for that tow as I get 1 200 mile tow per year for free. Tow truck driver said that tow would have normally been $700. I've been pleased with their service. Peace of mind.
