First trophy gar since Hurricane Harvey 6 foot 1 inch, landed from the Malibu kayaks mini-x. After landing a handful of baby's it was a pretty serious surprise when i set the hook on this one.
Shared the river with a few larger gar but wasn't the right time for a showdown with them, but maybe next time.
