[VIDEO] Surviving the Lower Pecos River - 11/19/16 04:42 PM

Two years ago, Dan and Bert Rodriguez (two members of this forum and the DFW kayak fishing community) attempted to paddle a 56 mile stretch of the Lower Pecos River, the sister to the infamous Devil's River. Halfway through their trip, flash floods cause them to abandon their kayaks and gear and evacuate via helicopter. Many of you heard the story through their blog, Lone Star Chronicles.

This year, two years after the historic Langtry Flood of 2014, Bert and Dan returned to the Pecos to finish what they started. They invited me along to document the trip through the lens of a video camera, and our crew was rounded out by Daniel Underbrink, an experienced outdoorsman who has paddled the Pecos and Devil's multiple times.

This is the trailer for the miniseries I'll be producing about our trip. Hope you guys enjoy it.
