KBF Texas Open - 09/08/15 04:05 PM
Its almost here! Several awesome prizes have already been collected and its shaping up to be a great event.
I just registered last night.
Are the tournaments on specific dates, or is it a running tournament like Kayak Wars?

you probably registered for the KBF state challenge. it runs like kayak wars. the KBFTX Open is on Oct. 3 at Houston County lake
Yep..your right. I've only fished a few tournaments, so I don't think I'm ready to toss my hat into that ring on Oct 3rd unless I can win a spot through the state challenge.

Houston County is an awesome fishery. Top 10 will qualify for the KBF National Championship tourney. We already have several great raffle prizes donated as well. There will anglers of all experience levels in this one from both TX and LA.

I'm trying to get info on the site about this. Do you just get one marker on the first day and can you fish anytime during that month?

it is what it is. There is a lot going on that day. Another tourney around San Antonio popped up at the last minute too.
Yea, we got a lot of people backing out. I was calling and messaging last week like crazy. Felt like a damn bill collector.. LOL.
