i'm looking for a paddle to break down and will travel easier.

its listed as an EMERGENCY paddle or backup paddle.
looks much easier to stow n take out than a 2 piece IMO

I took one of two paddles that came with my inflatable kayak and removed the plastic paddle off one of them and drilled the correct size hole to be able to fit into the two halves of the regular paddle thus making me a long three piece paddle for my inflatable as I sit high in it on a bass seat. Works like a charm except that because it is a aluminum shaft are a little heavy.
