New to Kayak Fishing and TFF. - 05/13/14 08:55 PM
Hey there guys,
I would just like to say hi and introduce myself. My name is Dan and I'm an avid angler from North Texas and new to kayaking. My wife just got me a Heritage 9.5' Featherlite for our anniversary. I fish a lot of creeks so I think it's going to be great to learn on. Whenever I am learning something new I try to read everything I can get my hands on. Forums can be an awesome place to pick people's brains and share ideas. However I am a little skeptical because I have been on different forums in the past that if you're not one of the "cool" kids your posts don't get answered. I really hope this is different. I am really looking forward to learning more about this sport that I am already ADDICTED to! I have only been out in my yak twice and I love it. Fishing is a huge part of my life and I am always trying to learn whatever I can. Looking forward to meeting some of y'all out on the water.
