Open invite...Texoma...smallies...Sunday

Sorry for the late notice. I'll be at the Eisenhower state park boat ramp at 6 AM Sunday. I want to get unloaded and paddle around to the cliffs by sunrise. I'm after smallies. I've been twice this year and have not been disappointed. I hear the bite is good for them right now. For you white bass guys if the striper are close then I'll be after them too.

I might be in on this, quick question... Would I need an Oklahoma license to fish that area?

Never targeted smallies before, but actually caught one from PK while bank fishing for stripers with with minnows.

My son has a bday once a year too just happens to be year number 3

Me and my partner met Todd at texoma today and I'm sad to report that there is nothing to report and no pics. I came home smelling worse than I did when I left and both of the other guys caught one apiece. It was my first time there in a kayak and I enjoyed the paddle.

Yeah fishing was bad but not just for us. We talked to a few nice boaters (not the guy in the tournament) and they had a slow day too.

I would have to say a slow day fishing with good people is better than a good day alone. It was a pleasure meeting y'all and looking forward to fishing the river with you.

Is the river trip open invite? Which river and when? I was wanting to go to the Red this weekend but I didn't have my Ok lic. so I am going to have to wait till the first of the year
