Bridgeport 4/24 - 04/26/22 04:40 AM
I fished a tournament yesterday 4/24 at Lake Bridgeport and ended up in 3rd place out of 18 anglers. It was very windy conditions and luckily the rain started as we were leaving. I ended catching around 12 all together and lost count of the sandbass. I also hooked what was probably a giant flathead that took me for a ride but the hook came loose after a little while.
I launched at Runaway Bay and fished along the jetti and onto the other side. I culled 4 times and all the fish bit on less than 2fow and water temp was 64*. They were hitting crawfish colored square bill, spinnerbait and a underspin with a swimbait. Ended with 86.25 and 1st was over 90”
