Tackle Bag Waterproof Spray - 12/22/21 05:34 PM

Hey I was wondering if anyone has applied waterproof spray like https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01FIHL83C/?tag=natureinsider-20 to help keep water out of your soft-sided tackle bag (https://www.tackledirect.com/plano-plabw370-weekend-series-tackle-case.html)

Thanks

Not used that particular one, but used scotchguard and some others many years ago, and it worked one time for splashing/ rain repellency by droplet slide off on the sides, then you have to apply again. Waterproof is misleading, none of the ones I used held up to puddling on top, or sitting in a puddle at the bottom. I believe some soft tackle boxes have an inner plastic liner which should keep water out, like the soft ice chests do.

Never used the mentioned above. But as already been stated, Scotch Guard is the one I have been using. thumb
