Thought it would be a great day of fishing and left the house at 4:30 to get on the water at first light.. water temps low 70's all day, lots of small bass, white bass, and catfish.. nothing over a couple of pounds, caught them on underspin with 5 inch swimbait, 6xd, and 5 inch flutter spoon. Nothing on topwater, spinnerbait, or 10 inch worm. Beautiful day though it did get windy. Fished until half hour before dark. Guys at the big bridge, fishing from bank were catching lots of black bass as well. Lots of kayakers out today. Found out from game warden that you can't park on side of hwy bridge to load or unload kayak. Have to park and carry or use cart. He was nice about it... but I think I've been warned.
I’m going to get some big guys next time..
