Heck yes I’ll pick up and reuse what I can-
I’m sure others have picked up my tackle after I couldn’t get it back-

It’s the green thing to do-

That is awesome! I love it when I come across a bait and it is a good one.

Who was fishing with a hookless crankbait? Moreover, how did they lose it?

Friday evening I pulled up a yellow and black Bomber slab spoon that looked like one that I had lost the previous week. I could tell it wasn’t mine based on the heavy line attached to it. Usually when I find a lure, it is in sad shape or is something I wouldn’t bother buying even if it were on sale. This one matched the 3 that were in my tackle bag.

Just curious was that bottom one found at Benbrook? Even if it was found there keep it. I lost it on the second cast bass wrapped on a log and it broke off. Like others said I've found and used lures that I've found. Over all I don't seem to have much luck with found lures. Maybe because they're usually dull and scratched up. Or maybe I don't give them much use as they're not my type of lure. But, that is a nice haul of lures.

With the cost of lures today, finds like that are sweet. I found a really nice spinner bait hanging from a cypress tree today That puzzled me on why the previous owner couldn’t retrieve it

You know I have fished from the bank and from boats for years and can honestly say I never found any Tackle but stared fishing from my kayak during winter draw downs on area lakes and I have scored several really nice finds. Usually clean them up replace any hooks or hardware and donate to local High School fishing team. Always feels good to give a little back

Not sure if just circumstance or something more but took the kayak out this am and found what looks to be a brand new Yo Zuri and H2O Express stick bait.

Get one of those weighted lure retrievers and you'll pull up all kinds of lures when you're stuck on something that everyone else has broken off on.
