Scupper Holes - 04/14/20 07:15 PM

I have recently purchased a Lifetime Weber 132 off of LetGo. However, when im getting it set up, I have quickly noticed that the scupper holes are not the universal size so the plugs do not work. Does anyone have a suggestion or idea on how to plug them?

You can try cutting a pool noodle to fit.

I have been trying to solve the same problem for years so this is a great conversation for me. For me the pool noodles worked for the front holes with no pressure on them, but under the drivers seat they leak leave me with a wet butt. I like the idea of the foam golf balls so I can pull it out and drain the yak easily.

Must not have a raised seat.

I dont have a raised seat on any of my kayaks. 2 of them i never use a seat at all. Kayaking is a "watersport" i always get a kick out of those who complain about contact with water weather its at the seat or from paddle drip. I guess i have always figured i was gonna get wet dragging that monster fish up in my lap so a little water was ok.

This time of year with all the rain we've been having it putting alot of debris in the water where im fishing, im just getting sick and tired of junk getting up into the kayak and getting everything filthy.

I take foam pipe insulating tubes, cut a section out to make it force fit the scupper. They work great.
