Lake Texoma Islands

Question: Can you camp on the islands at Texoma? I tried to Google some information but couldn't find anything. What about Ray Roberts? Any other local to DFW lakes that have islands you can camp from? I would like to consider paddling out and set up some overnight camping/fishing.

Texoma - yes. Pack a camp shovel because there is not a level spot anywhere. Get a Texoma license. TX GW won't mess with you because they are not out much but OK will.

Also, if you camp on the islands during warm weather, take lots of bug spray, mosquitoes are awful.
