Loaded up the yak and bass gear last Thursday and headed up from CC to Mathis Lake for a couple hours before dark. Managed some nice bass on flukes. I need to do more of those quick afternoon trips.

Mathis has decent bass. Doesn't get fished heavily. Nice to keep it that way.
