"Looking for some anchoring ideas for my jackson mayfly. Currently using a 5lb claw on a 50ft rope, works great until its time to retrieve it. Was looking at the Anchor wizard or open to other ideas.

Anchoring in itself is almost a hobby of mine unto itself. Without going into a long piece on available anchoring options, let me just talk about your specific issue.
Have you installed an anchor trolley? A trolley will allow the placement of the anchor rope at the front of the kayak or at the rear. This lets you position your boat into the wind or position you facing downwind. When it's time to retrieve the anchor, it will allow the rope to come to you for retrieval.
