I have had that same boat for about 5 years now. Run up down the Guadalupe. It's been a good boat. Now go get some of these, I put these on before I made the first trip. Have been in the boat for 8 hours at a time. Couldn't do that with those old hard plastic seats. Be glad you did. Same bolt pattern.

Our Gander Mountain just shut down and I was able to score a boat seat 80% off. Paid $15 for a very nice cushioned seat. I just installed it.

If your near Academy check to see if they have any on clearance. I have two padded seats that paid $3.48 apiece for. This was right after I bought two plastic seats from them for $5 apiece at a different Academy store.

For seat padding, I use the flotation cushion from the Wallmart sporting good section. They're pretty comfortable, and they also meet the requirements for live preservers.
