Hit the lake this morning. Winds from the south. Slow bite. Then dead calm. Then the winds started and blew from the north. The bite was on then. Had 6 doubles. Lots of small fish but did manage 11 keepers before the lightening started and I got off the lake. A boat pulled up right as I got there and there were 2 tubers who got in the water. It was nice to see other floaters out there!

I drive over that bridge over Joe Pool every single day. I need to just put my boat in the water and start catching crappie, especially when the largemouth bite is slow. But I have NO IDEA how to fish for crappie.

Like they say. I rather be lucky than Good. You have been on both sides of the spectrum.
