Who has an inflatable pontoon boat?

What brand?

How do you have it rigged?

I have a Creek Company Sport XR1.

I am putting rod holders on it, an anchor, Next week will have a Humminbird Piranhamax 150 fishfinder to mount.

By next year I will have a trolling motor for it.

If you put a motor on it you have to get TX numbers

You are correct, any motor requires TX numbers, regardless the size or age, which really means you will need to title it for public waters.

Yes. I am aware of that. I have a medical disability. I am going to see how I do this summer with the boat

Took my sister to Clear lake today. Will definitely go back
I also got my pontoon boat on the water for the first time
O man I am hooked

Now to get my fishing skills polished up.
I believe that the lake level has come up. The lake temp was 74. I had some good bites. Got one LMB on the hook bit he managed to getoff

I will be going back to clear lake.

I have a sea eagle foldcat. - 06/01/13 07:44 PM

I use a torqueedo travel 1003 with mine.

Good points:
1. low cost
2. all electric
3. can't sink easily
4. easy to store and set up
5. Motor will run all day and then some

Bad points:
1. will not track straight
2. Anything not tied down will be lost ( unless it floats)
3. No good place for a fish finder transducer. Mine's on the side and fish can get tangled in it. Lost a big striper thursday like this.
4. Motor has too much electronics.

I probably need a better picture

If you don't need to go really fast, here is another lightweight alternative:
http://www.electricpaddle.com/index.html

Initial cost is high for both portable units, 2K for the torqueedo and 1K for the e-paddle vs. $200 for a much heavier 50# minn kota and U-1 compact battery.

Hope this helps.
