Float tube bargain

Float tube bargain - 12/17/19 03:57 PM

See last post discussion on this model in this forum index 2-17-19. Probably the lowest cost way to try a non waist level submerged "V" float tube, other than buying used.

I have a complete full aluminum frame pontoon that I bought several years ago. Im pretty sure its from the creek company. I know when I talked to them this model was used by several outfitters in Colorado and could accommodate class IV rapids. I have never used it and have had it stored in my garage. My intent when buying it was to do annual WY fishing trips and fish rivers here in TX. Well that never happened and I am thinking about selling it. I live in Katy and would not be willing to ship it, but would drive it a reasonable distance if there is an interest.

I bought one of the Creek company for $130, as it only cost a little more than some parts that I needed, and it arrived today. There are some changes on this one other than the color scheme compared to my solid green ones from 2012 and 2013. The new one I got has 2 Boston valves on the pontoon bladders and 2 vinyl valves on the seat bladders, which are the same type as my reliable older models. The 2 Boston valves are outside of the pocket on the pontoons as pictured. Gone are the previous valves introduced a few of years ago which we're a hassle with the required valve adapter. Also, the bottom bladder seat at the back is angled down so that a person is not likely to slip forward and out of the seat. I don't have any connection with Creek company, just think they make a good tube at a bargain sale price.
