Last minute Corpus Trip

I'm heading to Corpus (from Houston) bright and early Monday morning (10/5) for a 9am meeting. Will be free the rest of the day and wanted to get in a 2-3 hour wade but don't know the area.

Anybody free for some skinny water fishing and lunch?
