Can I join you one time?

Hi! I'm visiting Corpus Christi for 2 months. I have experience wade and boat fishing freshwater up north, but very little saltwater experience.

I also have no boat here so I'm focused on wading and fishing from shore, piers, and jetties.

If you fish that way, would you mind if I tag along one time and see the rod, line, and techniques you use and a place you go? I have access to one rod and a few lures but would love to spend time casting with someone much more experienced at this type of fishing than I.

I would be more than willing to pay for gas or lunch or bait or whatever for the privilege.
