Falcon Trip 2/7 thru 2/13

Just got back from a week at Falcon Lake. Me and my Bud caught between 10 to 20 fish each day on lizards, brush hogs, and spinner baits in less than 10 fow. A couple of rig fish came in 10 fow.

We stayed at the BEST place on the lake, and fished one day with our guide and host Bassin Billy. He has them dialed in down there. If you are looking for a great guide and the best accommodations in Zapata, you better call Billy.

That was our best morning for size. The pics above were all caught that morning. Our best five was probably around 28 pounds.

Billy is the best guide on Falcon!!!

Dang guys, we got back in there that morning and I got on them pretty quick with the blade. Couple around 6 pounds within first 30 minutes of fishing. We left at 10 due to weather.

Enjoyed it guys. Shoot me a text my phone is now at the bottom of Falcon Lake and I need to get contact info from everyone again...

Just got back from Falcon had 11.70 with 4 fish. had 3 chances at #5 but enough said. I was there a week a go and found it tough but we put 8 nice fish in the boat up to 8#. Fished same creeks this time with no Berthas in the boat. Had one plus I won a nice rod and real in the flipping contest. By the way a big white spinner bait fished SLOW in the back of the creeks can get your rod taken from you!!!Hope this might help some.
