Leona River 11/21

Leona River 11/21 - 11/22/21 02:18 AM

After a late start, I took a trip west to try some river fishing in a place I've never tried before. I got on the water around 10 and started seeing fish feeding right away- mostly small ones but every once and a while a big splash. This river makes me feel like I'm in a swamp in the deep south, including some huge trees. Anyways, I couldn't get the smaller or the big fish to bite, but I did manage to find 2 medium sized bass willing to play approximately 10-12 inches and maybe a pound. I would think this river might be good fishing in the spring.
