Boerne 5/31/21

Very weak day of fishing on Boerne lake today. I did find a small section of the lake where there were a few fish feeding, but I think they were mostly sunfish. Occasionally I found something chasing baitfish but they weren't interested in my lures and wouldn't bite. Ended up with one small bass and a sunfish. I don't know why I keep coming back here, the fishing isn't good.

Keep some of those sunfish and drift fish live or cut baits. Have fun with the big catfish in the lake. My buddy has broken the lake record flathead 3 times already. Twice last month.

Side Note: Boerne Lake can be difficult. There are some nice fish in that lake including the creek. Usually have my best fishing there during late summer and fall.
