Fayette 5/2/2021

Started around 4pm. Hit all the spots that had some wind break. Two spots across the lake from each other had cast netters and a third had two boats anchored playing very load music. No luck by the areas after the netters left but they were on after the DJs left. Caught most of the 52 there. Had less then 5 that were under the slot and all fish were very healthy including 4 that were 6+ lbs. Lot of gar every where but most birds were gone and water was back to normal depth. All on Texas rig. A boat pulled up so close to me that we were crossing paths on our casts. Not only that they were yacking very load and positioned that they were over the “reloading” area. Needless to say after they showed up the bite slowed down drastically.
